Our Happy Place at Bognor Regis Youth & Community Centre

So much has gone on for the community centre over the last year, exciting times each week and we are always looking forward to the next step to progress. This week was presentation time with a cheque of £3,000 from the Youth Provision Funding Bognor Regis Town Council. The Mayor Francis Opler joined us having a chat with the young people and having a look around. The YP ages 11 - 18 in the picture loved being involved and telling the mayor what they had been up to. These are only a few of our attendees that are using the Youth Drop In every week. BRYCC reach 30 YP over 2 days and still growing strong each week with 60 young people registered. Since March last year through other projects we have facilitated with one off projects or short term projects we have reached over 1000 young people. Thank you to BRTC for the support and long may we continue.

Arun & Chichester Food Partnership are working with local groups to provide food for free at this really hard time in the cost of living crisis which is another amazing initiative i think as a community leader and support worker.

£750.00 funding has been awarded to BRYCC Youth Drop In to continue to provide further hot meals for the young people at the Youth Drop In Wednesdays and Thursdays 3pm - 6pm and encouraging cooking to support independence and skill sharing. The best thing at the drop in for me is the meal time seeing the kids working together and sitting around the table altogether chatting laughing from age 10 years to 18 years, so once again thank you for your support this will really help over the next few months BRYCC are proud that

we work hard to fundraise ourselves but these supportive networks are also essential even for a short time to continue reaching further community members. Look out for further updates as we have really got some exciting news coming over the next few days.
